BEAUMONT, Texas (June 1, 2010) – Military family members in Southeast Texas will soon have expanded access to their Department of Defense-sponsored health care benefits available through the US Family Health Plan (USFHP). In addition to the long-established US Family Health Plan at CHRISTUS Hospital-St. Mary in Port Arthur, military families now have access to the US Family Health Plan at CHRISTUS Hospital-St. Elizabeth, 2830 Calder Street, Beaumont, Texas 77702. This additional USFHP network is available as a result of an agreement announced today between the hospital and the US Family Health Plan at CHRISTUS Health, which contracts with the DoD to serve military beneficiaries throughout southeast Texas.
